I write from my heart with a nurse twist...
That is what I want to say when someone asks why you should visit my site & read what I have to say.
But... I am not sure it works for everyone.
If you read any of my posts
please read Monster vs Angel.
I didn't know Jeanette Maples but my heart feels like I did.
How can so many bad things to one sweet girl?
If one person would have stepped up and done something maybe should be alive today. A teacher, librarian, child services someone.
Her mom is on death row, step-dad a life sentence, the biological father got lots of money & never had any contact with her, and child services failed her over and over.
Her half-brother and sister are now with people who care about them.
These victims of bullying and Jeanette have things in common.
If I had seen her looking the way she did I would have taken her out of the situation.
First I would have hugged her & tell her she is safe.
Take her for medical care & notified child services if the hospital had not already.
She was 15 and weighed 50 pounds. Exposed bones from beatings& infections, and so much more.
I looked into her mother's eyes. Evil is what I saw.
I am human, a nurse, and I care.
That is why you should visit my website. With a hankie.
I am not sure how but I will do more.
Evil shows up in places where you would not suspect.
Like school bullies...
Teachers who ignore...
The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about.
When the dark time comes so does the pain deep within.
If the moon is full there can be more to see.
What you don't see is that one spot that never gets light.
It doesn't grow, it doesn't shrink it just is.
That means I am still here.
I will be OK another day.
It's just a bad day,
not a bad life.
If you think you can't do something close your eyes, take a deep breath and say "Yes" I can...
When your brain tells you to something & your heart says something different what should you do...
I usually follow my heart if no one gets hurts and I get the desired outcome.
